PAGCOR-Donated Patient Transport Vehicle Delivered to Pampanga

Access to faster medical transport can make a critical difference during emergencies. In Pampanga, a newly delivered Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) is expected to help strengthen the province’s healthcare response. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) officially turned over the vehicle to the Pampanga provincial government during a flag-raising ceremony on February 23, 2026, held at the Provincial Capitol in San Fernando City. The turnover was led by PCSO Assistant General Manager for the Charity Sector Atty. Lauro Patiag and PCSO Pampanga Assistant Branch Manager Roselyn De Castro. The vehicle was formally received by Vice Governor Dennis Pineda, along with other provincial officials.

The new PTV was donated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) under a partnership agreement with PCSO. Through this arrangement, PCSO serves as the implementing arm that ensures health-related donations reach communities that need them most. Designed to support emergency logistics, the vehicle will help provide quicker and more reliable patient transportation to medical facilities across the province.

The collaboration highlights the continued efforts of PAGCOR and PCSO to strengthen healthcare support and social services in local communities.
